The Story of Lindos
The village of Lindos dates back to ancient times, once a powerful maritime city during the Dorian era. Its Acropolis stands proudly above the village, featuring ruins from the Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine periods. Visitors can admire the grand staircase, the Temple of Athena Lindia, and breathtaking panoramic views from the top.
Today, Lindos remains a living village, where traditional houses, donkey rides, cozy tavernas, and boutique shops create a unique atmosphere blending history and modern Greek island life.
